Hisense H40 Lite with Android 11 launched in South Africa

South Africa, 8 September 2020 – Hisense held the pre-sales event for Infinity H40 Lite which running Android 11 in the South African market today. Hisense H40 Lite users will be among the first in the world to get the Android 11 release.

The new Android 11 system is people-centric, reconstructing the way people talk to the terminal. It gives users more control over sensitive permissions, and it will make devices more secure with this update. Android 11 will further improve the user experience by redesigning the message notification interface, adding support for foldable devices, and quick access to the smart home.

Hisense H40 Lite Android 11 has a highly integrated LTE chip platform – UNISOC SC9863A. The platform uses an  Octa -core Arm Cortex-A55 processor architecture, which improves the performance of running speed and AI processing compared with Arm Cortex-A53. Currently, UNISOC SC9863A has been among the first to complete the deployment of Android 11, which will quickly support terminal manufacturers to realize the next generation of operating system upgrades.

Zaker Li, Senior Mobile analyst from Omdia, said that “Android 11 has added many vital functions as the most advanced mobile operating system, such as 5G network support and user privacy protection upgrade. As one of the first mobile platforms, UNISOC will significantly improve its end-user experience. This time, it was chosen by Google as among the first echelon of the Android 11 release, highlighting that UNISOC’s ability in 5G technology and chip computing power has obtained the most authoritative recognition, which will help it gain a broader market prospect in the future.”

Key configuration optimization improvements for Hisense H40 Lite:

After Hisense H40LITE is upgraded to Android 11, the camera that users are most concerned about has been improved and optimized.

Super night scene: Improves image brightness, dark detail and contrast while suppressing more noise in night scene mode;

Scene recognition: It can recognize 12 scenes, including portrait, cat and dog, blue sky, food, green plants, text, architecture, snow scene, flowers, fireworks, night scene, sunrise/sunset. It can adjust the effect according to 12 scenes.

Portrait lighting effects: Simulate professional lighting effects, supporting 8 kinds of lighting effects, such as studio light, butterfly light, side light, contour light, theater light, classical light, window light, wave point light, etc.

In addition to the camera optimizations described above, the system UI has also added bubble chat and notification conversations

A new dedicated area for managing conversations

 

New system icon:

Icon: the structure line is more concise, the newly added gradient effect makes the whole color more dynamic.

The overall effect is rich and lively, keeping harmony and unity, and more in line with the aesthetic orientation of design.
